What happens when all the Bitcoins have been mined? Is that it then.. it just becomes a case of miners can only make money from transaction fees?

It's all yet to be seen but however it plays out it seems that the Bitcoin hash-rate will become more centralised as many miners are pushed out of viable profitability.
